Abstract
Carol Griffin of the Biology Department was awarded $10,000 from the National Forest Foundation as part of a $69,505 project to bring the Nordhouse Dunes Wilderness (Huron-Manistee National Forest, Michigan) up to and to exceed the minimum levels for wilderness stewardship established in the National Forest Foundation Wilderness Stewardship Challenge.
