Making the Workshop Work in Mathematics

The session considers an instructional approach (known as the workshop model) used in literacy learning and demonstrates how to apply this model to the mathematics classroom. Participants will learn the research behind the approach and explore several mathematics lessons and assignments that use the workshop model.
