Abstract

The purpose of this presentation is to inform the community about the stem cell therapies and research associated with breast cancer. Breast cancer ranks as the most common form of cancer among women in the United States. It also is the second-leading cause of cancer death among women in the United States. Stem cell research has had major breakthroughs in cancer treatments and therapies in the last few years worldwide. Through my presentation, I hope that my audience will become informed citizens and realize that stem cell research has great merit.
