Abstract

Cellular, Radio Frequency Identification (RFID), satellite and wireless networks are some of the newer mobile technologies businesses are implementing today. Some of the advantages businesses are gaining from going to these mobile technologies are increased employee productivity, greater customer satisfaction, improved business processes and better business management. This paper investigates how mobile technologies may be used within software and hardware and what business benefits are being realized.
