QuickPic demonstrates Zero Configuration networking and communication to quickly share photos taken by people around you. Android and iOS devices automatically discover each other by leveraging the Multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) over Wi-Fi networks, and communicate using HTTP for file transfers. This project presents a comparative analysis of mDNS implementation, file system architecture, open-source libraries, and server emulation on these two mobile application platforms.
