Abstract
I am seeking funding from CSCE and my Unit to present master classes and appear as a soloist in Poland and Germany March 7-17, 2013. I will be presenting a master class at the conservatory of music in Torun, Poland and appear as a soloist with the Torun Symphony Orchestra. I will also perform as a soloist with the Youth Band of Torun and will conduct several pieces with the youth band. In addition I will present masterclasses in Poznan and Wroclaw, Poland. I will perform a recital at the Philharmonic Hall in Lodz, Poland. From Poland I will travel to Germany to present a recital and masterclass as the special guest artist at the Meppen Blechbasertage (Brass Festival). While I am in Germany and Poland, I will be promoting the 38th Annual Conference of the International Trumpet Guild which will be hosted by Grand Valley State University June 11-15, 2013.
