Abstract
I will present a formal report on the state of international drama education to the executive committee of the International Drama Education Association (IDEA) in order to fulfill my obligation as elected secretary to IDEA. While there, I will have the opportunity to learn more about service organizations in my field, and I will be involved in planning international drama activities for IDEA. Attendance will also help me and my students make connections to the international theatre and drama community. I will also, if I garner sufficient funding, attend the National Drama Conference, which is immediately following the IDEA meeting, in order to lead a workshop on drama for teachers (Juried and accepted).
