Abstract
An operational data warehouse requires frequent (often daily) updates in order to add new data that is generated during ongoing business operations. The process of adding such new data is a multi-stage task that involves, loading, cleansing, and merging. A shortcoming of current approaches is that the different stages rely upon different third party tools or additional programming environments. Such multiplicity of tools and techniques adds to the complexity and cost of the process. In this project, we have designed, implemented, and demonstrated a set of tools that should streamline the process and reduce the reliance on third party tools or other programming environments.
