Abstract
AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) is a growing new technology. AJAX brings together several well-established web technologies and uses them in new and interesting ways. In this AJAX tutorial we will have a look at most of these technologies and see how one can use them to deliver effective AJAX applications which are more responsive to users and thereby provides an improved browsing experience. This tutorial also provides in-depth coverage of the communication between client and server, and also various data formats used for server response and requests. This tutorial intends to target application developers; mainly those that have a basic understanding of HTML and Javascript and those who want to learn more about AJAX.
