Abstract

In this project, I will be focusing on the differences between the public and private sector of law. Specifically, how both attorneys in both the public and private sectors can be used as a force of good to benefit society or the community they are a part of. Attorneys in the public sector--public defenders, prosecutors, city attorneys, etc.--generally work for government entities and provide their services at no cost to the public. Attorneys in the private sector are employed by private firms and are not associated with the government, however, can still serve as a benefit to society.
