Abstract

The topic for this semester's capstone project was Cloud Computing. Three teams of students addressed different issues related to Cloud Computing. Nikita Parikh and Ankita Nagpal discuss the history of Cloud Computing, the types of Clouds, the scenarios where Cloud Computing is used and the different vendors that are currently in the market. Brian Harvey and Elizabeth McGovern took an in-depth look at Google AppEngine, and will demonstrate a small application built on it. Shiv Dayal Maen, Subash Anam and Pashupati Kasaju, chose one of the Amazon Web Services, "Fulfillment by Amazon", studied it and discuss the details about the services it offers.
