Abstract

eShopping Application is a web-based application where customers can browse products and buy products online from a company XYZ. The application allows the customers to set up their accounts and establish their credentials once with the company and use this profile to do transactions with the company. The customers can also view history of their previous orders.

The project work involved business modeling using Rational XDE 2000 and the construction using the J2EE technologies. The project follows the MVC pattern to achieve separation of concerns. The project also uses some of the object oriented design patterns to achieve code reuse and modularity.
