Abstract

Description: Troubleshooting POP3 connectivity issues is a very intimidating and confusing process for many users. Unless they have expert knowledge of how e-mail servers work, understanding errors returned or why you can't download e-mail is very difficult. My project addresses those issues by analyzing some common scenarios that result in errors, as well as creating a report that provides a "plain English" analysis of the error and interpretation of the server responses.
