Abstract
A custom web application was developed and tailored for Holland Board of Public Works (HBPW). It is generic enough to be used outside of Holland Board of Public Works, because the application is mostly data driven. It uses visualization techniques to present electric and gas energy consumptions to consumers. It allows users to visualize and compare energy consumptions between consumers as well as against their historical consumptions (baselines). The objective of the project is to play a pivotal role in Holland Board of Public Works efforts to educate their consumers on consumption, with the expectation that it will lead to reduction of consumption. As a result, the project assists Holland Board of Public Works in participating in the Georgetown University Energy Prize (GUEP) Competition.
