Abstract

Our project centers around the issue often termed "Right to Repair", which focuses on the freedom of consumers and other third parties to repair their devices. This applies to anything from smartphones and laptops to cars and tractors. We were specifically interested in how the prevention of such repairs affect how consumers interact with and use technology. We invite you to consider the degree of ownership you ascribe to the devices you purchase, and whether you should have the freedom to repair them however you please.
