Abstract
The community set space is the space of all possible network community sets. This paper describes the space in terms of three metrics. The choice of metrics allows for a coherent mapping of the space to a triangular canvas where the points represent trivial sets (such as the set of one large community) and the edges are populated by well known set types. Analysts can then visually compare one community set with others. They can also easily picture the characteristics of a given community set.
