Abstract
The purpose of this presentation is to describe the speech-language pathology program in Michoacan, Mexico which consist of international cooperation between the US and Mexico. Licensed speech pathologists and students of speech pathology travel to Mexico to provide parent education and treatment to children and adults with speech, language, hearing, and swallowing disorders using traditional therapy as well as hippotherapy. The program is coordinated by Dr. Macauley of Grand Valley State University and Margarita Fajardo of San Francisco, CA. Over 350 children with disabilities have benefited from this program..
