Abstract
This research will partner the best practices of creativity education and those of adult learners to answer how design thinking can inspire creativity among adult learners in higher education. This survey-based qualitative research project used thematic analysis to gather the impression of instructors who use design thinking in their teaching and adult students who have encountered design thinking in their higher education coursework. Gathering impressions and coding the data highlights a theme that may shed light on the research question.
