My Internship Experience with a Law Enforcement Agency

Description
PURPOSE: The goal was to synthesize survey reports into a collective analysis. This internship helped me gain statistical experience in a professional setting. CHALLENGE: The survey results had low response rates, and the survey was not worded in a way to measure what was needed. Also, supplemental information was needed to maximize the usefulness of the data we had, and it was not always easy to get that information. EXPERIENCE: This internship helped me think outside the classroom and work effectively within a team. OUTCOME: The project I worked on is going to be a framework to go off of for survey analyses for future fiscal years. IMPACT: I was able to use the thinking learned in the classroom and expand it into a professional setting.
