Abstract
This research delves into the symbiotic relationship between culinary tourism, destination image perception, and tourist motivation. Employing a mixed-methods approach involving secondary data analysis and case studies of Delhi, Rajasthan and Kerala, the study investigates how regional culinary experiences shape the perception of a destination and influence tourists' motivations. Through the case studies, the research illuminates how culinary experiences contribute to the multifaceted image of a destination. Delhi's diverse culinary offerings reflect its multicultural essence, shaping tourists' perceptions and motivating cultural exploration. Similarly, Rajasthan and Kerala’s unique gastronomical trilogy serves as a cultural anchor, drawing tourists to authentic experiences and reflecting the state's identity.
