Abstract
The current study attempts to examine two antecedents – perceived value and destination image, and two outcomes of tourist satisfaction – tourist loyalty and behavioural Intention that can impact the satisfaction of international tourists that visit the eco-tourism destinations of Himachal Pradesh in Northern India. Ecotourism is one of the best practical solutions to preserve natural resources and promote sustainable development in a hill state like Himachal Pradesh. It also helps the local communities to reap the economic, social, and aesthetic benefits. Data from a questionnaire survey was collected from 262 International tourists from the ecotourism destinations of Kangra, Kullu, and Shimla. A correlation matrix, a statistical tool, was employed to evaluate the relationship between the variables in a data set. The data were examined using SPSS (Version 24). To promote Himachal Pradesh as an ecotourism destination, the study provided tourism professionals insights into the behaviours of international tourists, which can help to attract more international tourists while maintaining tourist satisfaction and tourist loyalty and bringing the wilderness and authentic ecosystems of Himachal Pradesh closer to the tourists to increase the livelihood opportunities for the local community.
