Author Biographies
Jessica Moman is a middle school English language arts teacher in Jeffersonville, Indiana. She has been teaching language arts at the secondary level for 10 years. A member of the 2014 IU Southeast Writing Project cohort, Jessica was also the 2018 Teacher of the Year and serves as the C3WP Advanced Institute teacher leader.
Steffany Comfort Maher is an Assistant Professor of English Education and directs the IUS Writing Project at Indiana University Southeast. With research in critical youth studies and critical inquiry, Steffany has published on teaching young adult literature with a critical inquiry approach.
