Delia King worked her entire career at Carson City-Crystal Area School, spending most of her time with second graders. After retiring, she returned to Carson City as a literacy coach. She also is a teacher consultant for Chippewa River Writing Project.

Abstract

This article demonstrates the important connections between the Language Arts Essentials K-3 with the NWP’s College, Career, and Community Writers Program.
