Aims & Scope
The mission of the Michigan Journal of Public Health is to promote public health practice, research and policy with specific focus on Michigan and the Great Lakes Region. We encourage contributions from the field of practice, original research, opinion and commentary. It is the expressed interest of this Journal to encourage dissemination from the field of public health practice.
The Michigan Public Health Association (MPHA) is the organizing entity of the Michigan Journal of Public Health (MJPH) and is responsible for the publicizing and publication of the journal. The members of the Editorial Board are solicited from among public health practitioners and researchers in Michigan, and approved by the Board of MPHA. MJPH Editorial Board members do not have to be members of MPHA. However, MPHA and/or American Public Health Association membership is preferred. Members serve three year terms, but service may be terminated either through a letter of resignation to the Editorial Board or upon a majority vote of the Board of MPHA.
