Abstract
This project aims at developing a single automation framework to test both security and functional aspects of web applications by using selenium and ZAP. Framework is a basic skeleton which can be modified based on the application under test and can be used for multiple applications with minimal changes. It would involve writing selenium scripts to automate the functional testing of a web application. Including ZAP on the top of those scripts, will scan the functional flow navigated through Selenium to identify the security vulnerabilities. In this way, this automation framework serves both the functional and security testing at the same time.
