Abstract

Abstract: This session will describe the shared model of academic advising and the registration strategies that have proven helpful for promoting greater undergraduate transfer student academic achievement. Included will be the registration strategies that have been implemented for working with transfer students during registration and orientation that have led to increased initial satisfaction with the university and greater transfer student confidence in taking responsibility for his/her academic program.
