Abstract
Review of the history, challenges, and practices of providing early educational intervention services to approximately 600 orphaned and abandoned children by the Education for Humanity International Foundation (EHI) in the Issan Region of Thailand. Over 15 years, EHI has overcome the challenges of engaging in relationships across the educational and bureaucratic sectors of Thailand. The presentation presents EHI's experience and expertise in effecting change by using education as a tool for reducing generational poverty, resulting in approximately 600 impoverished children receiving support to continue their education. The primary purpose of this presentation is to share the Education for Humanity International's success in applying educational diplomacy in rural Thailand.
