Abstract

As Vice-President of the International Association (AITA/IATA: http://www.aitaiata.org/) I must present reports on my work in organizing the association's electronic communications, disbursement of funds from our Culture & Education fund, & writing/publishing the association's arts newsletter. I must also make at least one speech identifying the importance of amateur theatre for youth participants & audiences, "meet & greet" international companies & program directors attending the festival, and participate in panel discussions & performance critiques of the international companies that are attending. The international association is providing me with festival registration, events tickets, lodgings, meals, rail station transfers & local transportation. Immediately following this festival in Germany, I will travel to Genova, Italy, to meet with representatives of our planned international studies program for GVSU's School of Communications; and I will return to the USA by air from Genova. However, the costs of this Italian portion of my trip are not part of this Dissemination Grant, except for the round-trip airfare to Europe.
