Abstract
"Seven Day Theatre" is a collaborative, theatrical event culminating in a staged reading of a finished one-act at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. During the first week of July, I will be joining Christopher Stephens, (professor of vocal studies at AMDA and executive director of Sing Smart Act Smart) his colleague, the director David Conrad Brouillard, and a cast of student performers trained at the Upright Citizen Brigade (accredited sketch comedy school). During the course of the week, I will complete a one act play, based on the improvisation exercises well be giving the cast throughout the early part of the week. On July 7, 2013, the final product will be performed for students and the general public.
