Author Biographies
Eddie Thigpen III, known as Mr. T. by his students, is a second year teacher at Jessie Rouse Elementary School in Saginaw, Michigan where he is also a participant in the Saginaw Public School District Grow Your Own Teacher Apprenticeship Program. A proud graduate of Saginaw High School, he played collegiate-level basketball for Mott Community College and Olivet College, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration. Outside of work Thigpen devotes his time to making music and playing basketball. He aspires to play some form of professional basketball before it is no longer an option. He currently has over one million streams in the music world and has produced music for various national recording artists. Thigpen is also a proud father of his son, Elite.
