Abstract
Two of the three co-editors of Teaching Information Literacy Threshold Concepts: Lesson Plans for Librarians will discuss two threshold concepts and lessons that teach them. Gayle Schaub and Hazel McClure will discuss the process of editing and developing the lessons to closely align with threshold concepts, and explore examples of using these lessons with specific instruction requests and teaching concepts while also teaching skills. They’ll also discuss how threshold concepts can be used in conversations with courses instructors to arrive at a shared understanding of objectives for library sessions.
