Abstract
At the beginning of 2010 Gerald R. Ford International Airport (GRR) was named the 2nd most expensive airport to fly out of in the United States. As expected this news was not welcomed by some of the top business executives in West Michigan. As an effort to bring down prices and stop people from driving to Detroit or Chicago to fly, the Regional Air Alliance of West Michigan began. They now conduct a survey every quarter gathering information from passengers regarding air service at GRR. The data is segmented in to the categories: overall satisfaction, access, airport environment, airport facilities, and check in. We analyze the data to determine trends and possible correlations regarding the thoughts of the passengers flying out of Grand Rapids. We will show where GRR is performing best and where it can improve.
