Abstract

For this activity, I break students into groups and look at a scholarly article (which changes). Each group is assigned a different section of the article and they are only responsible for reading that section. They then respond to questions on the worksheet (note: the worksheet might change depending on the specific article I choose). We then come together and each group tells the class what they found. We then usually have an additional discussion about how to use scholarly articles in their research.
