Constructing a Search Strategy

Abstract

This lesson plan covers the process of creating a search strategy: creating a research question, identifying keywords and other terms, organizing terms into a search statement, and choosing where to search. The intended audience is students in Capstone courses or other with significant semester-long research projects. The lesson plan and accompanying handout can be used for any subject area.
