Publication Ethics Statement

Research ethics approval requirement: All studies involving human participants must be evaluated by a research ethics committee prior to undertaking the research. An ethics statement that makes clear the name and location of the review board and any details regarding informed consent should be included in the methods section of all relevant submissions (e.g., “This study was approved by the XXXX IRB, approval # ZZZZ, on Month, DD, YYYY. Written informed consent for inclusion in the research was obtained from the participants prior to the interviews.”). Authors should not submit completed consent forms along with manuscript submissions for confidentiality.
