Kathy Couillard, a first grade teacher with more than twenty years of teaching experience, who is implementing the writing process.

Michelle Kulas, a young teacher in her fourth year of teaching, bases her third grade classroom on a whole language philosophy.

Elaine Stephens, a former classroom teacher, is a graduate and undergraduate teacher educator with research interests in literacy and literature.
