N. Suzanne Standerford is currently an assistant professor of education at Northern Michigan University and a member of the Michigan English Language Arts Frameworks project. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in literacy education. Her research explores ways in which school reforms influence and are influenced by classroom teachers. Dr. Standerford is a member of the Marquette-Alger Reading Council.
