Brenda Epkey is a first-grade teacher at Carson City Elementary
School. She has just completed her master's degree at Central
Michigan University. Peggy Gaskill, Ph.D., is a professor in the
Department of Teacher Education and Professional Development at
CMU and is director of Michigan Schools in the Middle. Karen
Gostomski is a Michigan School Readiness preschool and
developmental kindergarten teacher at Vestaburg Elementary School.
She has just completed her master's at CMU. Jennifer Smith is a
reading recovery and Title I teacher at Eureka Elementary School in
St. Johns. She has just completed her master's at CMU.
