Rose Casement is an assistant professor at the University
of Michigan-Flint where she teaches literacy and children's
literature. She co-authored the children's literature
textbook, Children's Literature: An Invitation to the
World, with Diana Mitchell and Pamela Waterbury and has
written and presented at state and national conferences on
inclusive representation in children's literature.
