Marion Dokes-Brown is an assistant professor at Eastern
Michigan University. She teaches reading courses on
the graduate and undergraduate levels. She is director
and curriculum developer of the After School Program.
Previously, she taught in Little Rock, Arkansas, as a
classroom teacher and reading specialist.
