Laura Schiller is a literacy consultant at Oakland
Schools and director of the Oakland Writing
Project. National Board certified, Laura is a veteran
elementary and secondary classroom teacher and is
currently pursuing a doctorate in literacy, language,
and culture at the University of Michigan.
