This is Kathy Spencer's 19th year in education and her sixth year teaching as a special education resource teacher in the Geneva school district. She obtained her first master's degree from Eastern Illinois University in 1991 and is currently pursuing a master of education in literacy degree from Judson University in Elgin, Illinois.
