Shelley Stagg Peterson, Ph.D. is a professor in the
Department of Curriculum, Teaching and Learning
at the University of Toronto, Canada. Her
current research involves kindergarten, grade 1 and
Aboriginal Head Start Teachers in action research
designed to support children’s oral language and
