Among other adventures, Gabriel DellaVecchia has
been a reading tutor in Baltimore, a teacher-trainer
for the Peace Corps in South Africa, an English
teacher in Japan and Cambodia, a student teacher for
Grades 2 and 4 in Portland, and a Grade 3 teacher
at an International Baccalaureate school in Denver.
He is currently a doctoral candidate in Educational
Studies with a concentration in Literacy, Language,
and Culture at the University of Michigan. He can be
