Dawn Nacker (dln) is a district Literacy Coach in Utica Community Schools. She received her BA in Elementary Education from MSU and her MAT in Elementary Education from SVSU. In 2021, she was awarded “UCS Elementary Teacher of the Year” and “Macomb County Outstanding Elementary Teacher of the Year.” Over her 30+ years in public education, she has spread the love of reading to her colleagues and students. Recently, her family built a Free Little Library together that was placed in front of an elementary school. One of her hobbies is to post her books currently read on her social media pages using the handle @dawndevoursbooks.
