Janine Certo is an associate professor and poet at
Michigan State University’s College of Education.
Her recent work focuses on play in children’s
poetry writing, teachers’ engagement with poetry, and interpretive research methodologies. She
coordinates the Master of Arts in Teaching and
Curriculum program and teaches writing, literacy
and poetry courses.
